AA The Insurance Store is an independent insurance agency established on the Mississippi coast over 30  years ago.  We have witnessed and participated in the growth, change and challenges  presented to our area.  We are proud and grateful to be a member of our community and to serve our neighbors.  We strive to bring good service and security to our clients.

Independent agents have several advantages over captive agents.  These advantages include freedom, broad knowledge of the insurance Industry, flexibility, resources, and are likelier to be unbiased. They represent multiple insurance companies with multiple products and services they can make available to fit your special circumstances.   They also can pool knowledge and make use of resources from multiple companies to better serve you, the insured.  They have more flexibility to change your coverage or product to fit your needs and retain the special professional relationship you both enjoy as agent and insured.  They represent many companies and products therefore have no single bias.   Although we call them an insurance agent, they are your agent or liaison representing your needs to multiple insurance companies.

Here at AA The Insurance Store, we are proud of out staff.  Most members of  our staff have served our clients for years.  Being members of the community in which they serve creates an environment of  understanding , compassion, and professionalism..  These attributes are often  lost, considered incompatible or mutually exclusive, making our staff quite unique.  Please allow us to introduce our staff.

Cynthia Davis–-Notary/CSR

I have been a customer service representative at the Insurance Store for 8 years. A CSR may be one of the first contacts you encounter while at the Insurance Store.  The Mississippi Gulf Coast is home to myself and my two adult children, one a Nurse Practitioner and the other a Certified Auto Mechanic.

I have a passion for fishing that I evidently passed on to my children.  both share the passion.  I am involved with a non profit organization “Take a Kid Fishing” that supports disadvantaged youth and children with special needs.  I believe that all kids deserve the chance to experience the long held tradition of fishing.  I enjoy arts and crafts in my spare time.  I have been known to turn out some spectacular sea faring vessels with my craft work.

Amanda Morton —-Manager/Agent/Notary

II have been a resident of Harrison County for 20 years.  Eighteen of those years, I have been a member of the staff at AA The Insurance Store,  giving me eighteen fruitful years in the insurance industry.  As manager of the Gulfport agency, I am a licensed Life and Health as well as a licensed Property and Casualty agent.  I also serve as Notary.  Being the proud mother of my ten year old daughter, I serve as a member of the PTSA at West Wortham Elementary School.  We have two dogs, Anabelle and Buddy, both are a joy.  Our family has recently grown to include a new cat named Tyla and two adorable sugar gliders named Rhett and Scarlett.

I have discovered the joy of cruising.  I have been on eleven cruises thus far and find them to be most relaxing and rejuvenating. If you haven’t tried one, perhaps you should treat yourself.   Reading is part of my past time along with catching a movie at the theater.  I follow the saints and enjoy keeping up with the games.  Summer is my favorite time of year. When time allows, boating is my passion. Anything involving water activities count me in.  I guess that is what makes the Mississippi Gulf Coast so interesting. I find blue the most interesting color and remember chocolate is a chocoholic’s weakness. “hint”
